It is the season for boudoir…and I’ve had a lot of requests lately for bridal boudoir photography….so I thought I would take a quick moment to talk about my boudoir sessions.
There are two ways that my clients will schedule boudoir.
Sometimes they will hire me for an extra hour on their wedding day… and we squeeze in a mini bridal style boudoir session alone in their bridal suite prior to getting into their wedding gown on their wedding day.
Or… brides will hire me prior to the wedding day to spend a little more formal time with a complete session. I do not typically market my boudoir sessions on a website or blog out of the privacy and respect of my previous clients… however, I do have a private portfolio for viewing upon request.
My typical rate includes up to a two hour session with an album of your top favorite images from the photo shoot. I offer a studio location, hotel or outdoor option. Some of my brides will choose half of their session to be captured in a studio or indoors and half outdoors in the nature. I would be glad to help with some suggestions based off of what fits your style and personality. My boudoir session rates run $500 – $2000 depending on the options that you choose. Due to my wedding travels and schedule, I prefer to book all boudoir sessions 3 months prior to your wedding date. However, I’m flexible if weather or a particular season of the year is a factor or could possibly affect the style of the boudoir session that you desire.
I highly recommend scheduling an appointment to have your hair and makeup done professionally for the photo shoot. Not only is it great fun to have a pamper day… but also, professional hair and makeup will make you feel and look incredibly beautiful, as well as last longer in the elements for outdoor sessions… Some of my brides love to incorporate water, lakes, rivers, mountains and even wind… So going pro for makeup and hair is highly recommended!
