It’s not every day that couples want to get up at 6 am and venture out into the mountains at Sparks Lake in Bend, Oregon during the winter months for a sunrise engagement session, however, this beautiful couple was up for a unique adventure. It was a brisk 20 degrees with a fresh dusting of snow. But we all were so excited to see Broken Top in all its glory with a beautiful Central Oregon alpenglow. And that’s exactly what we got! As the sun began to rise over Mt. Bachelor the colors kept changing into all sorts of beautiful rose gold tones. It’s been a dream of mine for some time to capture a love story engagement photos with these scenic Three Sisters Wilderness views during sunrise in the winter. Patiently waiting in freezing weather for that beautiful light to peak over Mt. Bachelor was well worth it. Here is a little sneak peek of their beautiful winter engagement session at Sparks Lake near Bend, Oregon.
