Winter Engagement Photos Sparks Lake near Bend Oregon

Sparks Lake near Bend Oregon is a perfect location for winter engagement photos. The Cascade Lakes Highway closes in the winter, so you need to plan for a date for your engagement photos prior to the road closure.  During the winter months, parking is available at Dutchman Flats across from Mt. Bachelor and you can ride snowmobiles into Sparks Lake for access.   Sparks Lake offers lots of variety for photos from a meadow,  beautiful mountain views of the Three Sister’s Wilderness, lava flows, forest, and of course the gorgeous lake as well.  Furthermore, the  Sunsets are typically amazing at Sparks Lake. But,  I adore this particular engagement session as we had gotten an early snow dusting at Sparks Lake which made for a dreamy fall/winter themed engagement photos and we were able to ride to Sparks Lake just in perfect timing before the winter road closure.
